Luke Lessei Secures First-Round TKO at ONE Fight Night 27

On January 10, 2025, at ONE Fight Night 27 in Bangkok's Lumpinee Stadium, American Muay Thai fighter Luke "The Chef" Lessei delivered a commanding performance, defeating Canada's Cody Jerome via first-round TKO in a 160.5-pound catchweight bout. Lessei's strategic use of body strikes led to multiple knockdowns, culminating in a stoppage at the 2:00 mark of the opening round.

Lessei's martial arts journey began under the guidance of his father, a Muay Thai legend in his own right, who laid an unshakable foundation rooted in Jun Fan, Jeet Kune Do, Filipino Martial Arts, Judo, Tae Kwon Do, and of course Muay Thai. With his eyes set on the One Championship Belt, Lessei transitioned to Beacon MMA in Cherry Hill, New Jersey, where he now trains under head coach Bob Peach and coach Shane Fazen. Reflecting on his experience at Beacon MMA, Lessei stated, "That’s where Shane Fazen trains and teaches. Coach [Bob] Peach is out there doing great."

Lessei's dedication and the support from his coaches were evident in his performance. He expressed gratitude for the guidance received, noting that the "perfect fight week" exemplified the hard work put into his craft.
